Full to Full Fuel

At RSV Rentals we operate a full to full fuel policy, this means that you will need to drop off the vehicle with the same amount of fuel it had when you picked it up. Where possible we will attempt to have the fuel tank full when you collect the vehicle. 

If you return the vehicle to us with less fuel in it than when you picked it up we will charge you £2.00 per litre, based on vehicle specifications held on our database and in our head office (details of which are available on request), you will also be charged a £20.00 refuelling fee. If the vehicle is returned to us with more fuel than when you picked it up, we will not offer any refund. 

Mileage

When you rent a vehicle from RSV Rentals you will be advised of the mileage allowance given for the duration of your hire. If you go over this mileage allowance we will charge you 12p + VAT per mile plus a £20.00 excess mileage fee.

 

Misfuelling

All of our vehicles are clearly marked with what fuel they need. If you put the wrong fuel into one of the vehicles, we ask that where possible you do not start the vehicle contact the RSV Rentals immediately and then contact the breakdown service highlighted in the vehicle. 

Misfuelling is not covered on our insurance policy, the vehicle hirer will be liable for any costs associated with rectifying our vehicle after misfuelling.
